The meeting was called to order at 8:40 by our president, Bob Rohrbaugh. The minutes from the Baltimore Howard show were sent out previously in the newsletter and were approved. The Treasurer's report indicates that we have $1,000.65 and a check for $1,000 was drawn on the account by Alane to be transferred to the new treasurer in her departure. The Treasurer's report was approved.
Elections were held and we re-elected Bob for the office of President, and Kathy Schwartz as director. Heidi Young was elected as the new treasurer to replace Alane and Ron Dixon as the third director.
Old Business: Bob brought up that he was asked to find a judge for the South Jersey show, and he was able to get Freda Kraus for $1 per animal, and indicated that we need to find out from their club if there would be a charge for holding the specialty there, since we were not using one of their judges, and getting our own. He was also able to get one “yes” response to the bid forms for the 2,000 show. It was from Molly Covert, and was for 90 cents per animal plus airfare and lodging. It was estimated that it would run in the neighborhood of $300, depending on the air fares at that time.
New Business: We now have a web page for our club, constructed and maintained by Jaylene. It will be a place to post show results, upcoming shows and the links to members webpages. We can have announcements, and minutes from meetings on there as well. The website idea was approved.
